Mitsubishi WD-73738 73-Inch 3D DLP HDTV
I bought this laid to interchange a Mistu 65 in DLP because it was non-3D. This television has a top pass picture, fantabulous 3D capability, and a marvelous price.
The upside of DLP is an splendid picture, relatively slim size for a rearward projection, and a lightweight design. (the 73 inch laid1 weighs less than my 2 40 inch plasmas) The downside is that it requires a projecter lamp modify when the bulb wears away at a price of nearly $100. My late laid8 was four years old and I never had to interchange0 the lamp. They last from 3000 to 10,000 hours of use.
After the firmware update on these televisions (they will either arrived that mode new from the factory or may exist updated by pluggin an internet cable into the back of the set) they WD-73738 may exist applied with DLP Link style glasses and requires no emittor.
My exclusively issue is that for some reason, with the settings on “DLP Link” the television will not send out the 3D signal at each use. Every time you bicycle the TV perish and then dead back and desire to use the 3D mode, I receive to cry up the menu, de-select “DLP LINK” and take “Emittor”, then switch back to “DLP Link” again to cause it to output the signal. I believe that is a software issue that I hope will exist corrected at the future update.
